The Nepisiguit River company is housed in one of Altantic Provinces' oldest buildings.. In fact, the Old Post Office as it called was designed by Thomas Fuller one of Canada's foremost architects a in the late 19th Century. His most important work is that of the Parliament buildings in Ottawa. The building was erected in 1885
and served as a Post Office until the late 1960's where it was used as the headquarters
for the local Militia unit their move to more modern facilities within the limits of the
City of Bathurst in 1992.
